Five Reasons We Thank the Universe for the Laptop:
1.  Do you remember how much computers weighed just ten years ago?  Granted they weren’t made for toting, but you could barely get them in your house without a weight belt.
2.  Anyone who travels for work knows the Golden Rule of airports – less is more (hello, Macbook Air).  Disobey that rule and your hands and shoulders will riot and create many unfortunate incidents en route from Gate B1 to the main concourse.
3.  We’re weirdos and we’ve never really taken to sitting at a desk with a normal chair, in fact, we feel we have to move around at random all day going from sitting to standing to sitting again at different places in the office.  None of this, of course, would be possible without the advent of laptops.  Hallelujah!
4.  We watch a lot of Hulu.  A lot of Hulu in bed.  It might just be the gadget equivalent of eating Oreos in bed, but we do it.  We’re pretty sure our laptop is a bit more comfortable than the regular computer in this case.
5.  When we have a party and our husband was supposed to replace the speaker that had blown out on our sound system, but instead he decided not to…and your party is left sans music.  Well, the laptop saves the day!
